I thought it funny how Magneto was pretty much telling Scott “Woah woah you’re turning into me” and then we have this…

But this whole issue was one giant clusterfuck of “OSHIT SON WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” and everyone punching the fuck out of each other (not as bad as the last two issues but man it still made me want to throttle people).

Oh and this is written by Brubaker, the guy who writes Captain America so it’s not like this is his first time writing Steve either. But I have noticed that Bru’s Steve tends to be somewhat violent and act first ask questions later type of guy.

BTW I also noticed that Steve, Thor, Tony and other Marvel characters seem more on the violent, angry and aggressive side nowadays, although they were kind of angry during the 60’s too maybe I’m thinking of the 80’s stuff, they seemed kind of mellow during that era.

Of course this is a superhero vs superhero event and those usually have plots with forced situations which lead to heroes punching each other and later teaming up for the greater good (although in this case I doubt it will happen).

I do like the fact that Bru has Tony calling him out on this and telling him “That doesn’t sound like you at all”, it’s one of the dynamics I like about these two. Tony and Steve will always try to pull each other from the edge and keep the other grounded if the try to fly off to far.

Now that I think about it, Bru and Bendis already showed that Steve is getting fucking stressed out in his current Avenger leader/head of security position and I think that’s messing him up right very much now… Which is making me think if this is eventually going to lead somewhere? Steve having a breakdown? Maybe even going the through the same thing Tony did after Secret Invasion? Fired from his position, and now with the bad press they will get from Cyclop’s letter probably hated?

Y’know there’s a reason why the Avengers made decisions as a group, and had a rotating chairmanship so shit like this wouldn’t happen! It’s never smart to give the sole power to one person.
